The questions we hear most from property owners across Rexburg and the Snake River
Valley. Don't see yours? Call us — we're always happy to help you figure out the
right plan for your property.
We work out of Rexburg and cover the Snake River Valley within roughly 25 miles: Sugar City, St. Anthony, Rigby, Idaho Falls, Ammon, Iona, Ucon, Ashton, Teton, Ririe, Menan, and Parker, plus the communities between them like Salem, Hibbard, Burton, Plano, and Archer. If your property is close to that map and we can get the machine to it, call and ask.
Who actually shows up to do the work?
Dave, the owner. Glitter Gulch Ground Works is an owner-operated outfit: the person who walks your property and gives you the number is the person on the machine doing the job. No crews you have never met, and nothing gets lost between the estimate and the work.
How much does land clearing or dirt work cost?
Every estimate is free and we price after we look at the actual ground. Cost depends on how thick the growth is, what the ground is doing underneath it, access, and whether debris gets hauled off or stacked on site. You get a straight written number, not a phone guess that grows when the machine shows up.
What equipment do you use?
A skid steer with the right attachment for the job, plus a dump trailer for hauling material in and debris out. That combination handles the clearing, grading, stump, driveway, and hauling work this valley actually calls about, and it gets into places big iron cannot without wrecking everything on the way in.
Do you remove trees?
No, we do not fell standing trees. We do everything around tree work: clearing brush and saplings, grinding stumps below grade, and hauling off wood and debris once trees are already down. If you need a standing tree taken down, hire a tree service for the felling and we will handle the ground from there.
Do you haul off the debris or leave it?
Your choice, and we price both. The dump trailer can take brush, wood, and debris off the property the same day, or we can stack it in a safe burn pile clear of buildings and fences. Haul-off costs more and finishes the job completely; stacking costs less and leaves the disposal to you.
How fast can you get started?
Usually fast. The phone gets answered at (701) 421-4235, and being owner-operated means scheduling is a conversation, not a queue behind a fleet. Weather runs the calendar in the shoulder seasons, and frozen ground pauses dirt work in deep winter; we will always tell you a real window.
