About Glitter Gulch Ground Works

No Nonsense. Just Results.

Our Story

An Owner-Operated Outfit on Snake River Valley Ground

Glitter Gulch Ground Works is run by Dave Chambers out of Rexburg, and it does one kind of work: the heavy, dirty jobs that turn rough ground into usable ground. Land clearing, brush removal, stump grinding, grading, gravel driveways, and dump trailer hauling — with a skid steer, the right attachment for the job, and the owner in the seat.

Skid steer plus dump trailer means ground gets moved: brush comes off the fence line, stumps come out below grade, pads get shaped so they drain, gravel goes down where mud used to be, and the debris leaves on the trailer instead of living in a pile. Different jobs, same standard — read the ground, protect what matters, and leave it better than we found it.

It is run the simple way: answer the phone, walk the property, give you a straight written price, and do the work agreed to. We cover Rexburg and the Snake River Valley within about 25 miles — Sugar City, St. Anthony, Rigby, Idaho Falls, and the towns and farm ground between — and the phone answers day or night at (701) 421-4235.

What We Believe

Three Rules We Don't Break

Tell You Straight

You get an honest price and honest advice. If the job you are picturing is a waste of money, or a cheaper approach gets you the same ground, you hear it before you spend a dollar.

Show Up and Follow Through

Owner-operated means the person who quoted your job is the one doing it. When you get a date, it is a real one — and the job ends clean, not as a field of ruts and debris somebody walked away from.

Treat Your Land Like Ours

Read the ground first: protect the drainage, keep the trees and topsoil you want kept, and leave dirt that mows, drains, and builds right. This valley is home — the work has to hold up to neighbors.

Why Choose Glitter Gulch

Hard Work. Done Right.

The Owner Runs the Machine

Glitter Gulch is owner-operated: the guy who walks your property and shakes your hand is the guy on the skid steer doing the work. Nothing gets lost between the estimate and the job, and nobody treats your ground like a subcontract.

Local to Rexburg

Based right here in the valley, not trucked in from Boise or Salt Lake. We know this ground — the sage benches, the river bottoms, the lava rock, the frost — because it is the same ground we live on.

Straight Answers, Free Estimates

You get an honest walk-the-property estimate and a plain-English price — no surprise add-ons, no lowball-then-upcharge. We tell you what the job really takes, then we show up and do it.

Right-Sized Equipment

A skid steer with the right attachment and a dump trailer handle the clearing, grading, stump, and hauling work this valley actually needs — and they get into yards and gates big iron cannot, without wrecking everything on the way in.

How We Work

What Working With Glitter Gulch Looks Like

From the first walkthrough to the final one, here’s exactly how your project runs.

1

Walk the Property & Free Estimate

Dave comes out, looks at the actual ground — the growth, the slope, the wet spots, the access — listens to what you want done, and gives you a straight, written estimate. No pressure and no phone-quote guessing.

2

Schedule & Prep

We lock in a date, plan machine access and where debris goes, and flag anything that needs protecting — fences, ditches, lines, the trees you want kept. You know the plan before anything starts moving.

3

The Work

The owner runs the machine — skid steer with the right attachment, dump trailer on hand — and works the plan you agreed to. If the ground surprises us, you hear about it and decide before it costs you anything.

4

Final Walk & Cleanup

We walk the finished ground with you, haul off or stack whatever the plan called for, and leave the property clean and usable — not a job site somebody abandoned.
